Kellyn’s Story
Kellyn grew up in Pittsburgh and moved to DC to pursue graduate school and a career in museum studies. With her black cat at her side, she’s dabbled in roller derby and powerlifting. She’s excited to have found a geeky weirdo who makes her smile daily to be her tag team partner for life.
Brian’s Story
A ska-loving and video-gaming computer engineer, Brian is beyond ecstatic to find someone who appreciates his dumb jokes, adoration of cats, sense of exploration, and puts up with his nonsense. He is still amazed that his love of Gaston didn’t scare her away.
Our Story
Kellyn and Brian met in July 2017 off one of those hip, new dating apps. Every date was another adventure, including a folk festival circus, a cat café, a trip to Disney, and even a local wrestling match or two. Starting a new life together just seemed like the natural thing to do; just one more adventure together.
